In the remix and the original Tik Tok, Kesha’s addiction is to alcohol.  In the original video it is just about her having a good time when she’s drinking.  Compared to the original the remix is talking mostly about the consequences of drinking.  This video shows how addictions can affect not only your life but also the people around you.  It shows the negative aspects of drinking and for the most part what an intervention is like.  On screen of the original Kesha is off having fun and showing the viewers what she wants them to see when she’s drinking.  On the other hand, in the remix it shows her puking in the toilet and having an intervention with her family.  The messages are completely different.  She even says in the remix, “Its time you know this is just a video I don't drink or pee in sinks that's just what I want my fans to think.”  She just wants you to think she’s cool by doing the things she does.  On the contrary in the original she says, “Ain't got a care in world, but got plenty of beer Ain't got no money in my pocket, but I'm already here.”  She is just showing them that drinking can be a fun time without the consequences.
